FAIRFAX, VA -The Old Dominion wrestling team finished the second annual Colonial Athletic Association Duals Saturday with a 2-3 record, after going 2-1 on the final day. The Monarchs improve to 3-5 for the season and 2-3 in CAA action. In Round 3, ODU defeated Sacred Heart 23-20, in Round 4, the Monarchs were defeated by Boston University 34-9, and in Round 5, ODU defeated Binghamton 32-18.

Derrell Lorthridge (Wilmington, DE) led the Monarchs for the day in the Heavyweight class, taking matches again Boston University's Courtney Howard (10-6) and Binghamton's Jeff Parker (8-0), but dropping to Sacred Heart's Payam Zarrinpour. In the 184 class, Adam Wright was undefeated for the day, taking out Sacred Heart's Max Pazdan (F 2:35), Boston University's Tom Sforza (3-1) and Binghamton's Mark Tse (F 4:37).

ODU returns to action Tuesday, January 27, traveling to Raleigh, NC to take on the N.C. State Wolfpack.
