The Old Dominion wrestling team defeated Delaware State 36-7 on Thursday in non-conference action in Dover, DE.

The Monarchs won eight of the ten weight classes to earn the victory. ODU is now 6-9 overall on the season with a 2-4 conference mark.

Highlighting the win for ODU was senior Ben Summerlin (Lynchburg, VA) who picked up his tenth pin of the season in just :50 seconds over the Hornet's Josh Keitt. He is now 22-4 on the year while teammates Derrell Lorthridge (Wilmington, DE) and Adam Wright (Bridgewater, VA) both improved their win totals to a team-high 24.
