Raleigh, NC-The Old Dominion wrestling team finished a hard afternoon at the N.C. State Duals today, dropping their first three dual meets of the season to N.C. State, Drexel and VMI.

Wrestling without usual starters Matt Small (Chesapeake, VA) and Blake Romano (Boiling Springs, PA), the Monarchs were still able to post some impressive individual results. Senior Jeff Rusak (Reading, PA) picked up three wins while Ben Summerlin (Lynchburg, VA) and Derrell Lorthridge (Wilmington, DE) had two victories.

N.C. State finished the Duals as the top team, posting three wins.

Old Dominion will return to action on December 28, when they take part in the Wilkes Open in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
