NORFOLK, VA -The Old Dominion wrestling team is set to host two dual meets this weekend at the ODU Field House, taking on Virginia Military Institute Friday night at 7:00 PM before taking on Campbell Saturday at 2:00 PM. The Monarchs come in to the duals with a 3-9 record, after dropping their last four matches. Most recently, on Wednesday night, the injured Monarchs squad lost to N.C. State 27-22 in Raleigh, NC. ODU has a 2-3 Colonial Athletic Association record.

VMI currently holds a 6-4 record, winning its last six matches, including a 29-7 win over the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. The Keydets finished first in the Virginia Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by ODU, on Jan. 18. Eight wrestlers placed during the event, including wins for Juan Sanchez (125) and Jason Cox (197).

Campbell holds a 1-11 overall record and a 1-5 record in CAA action. The Camels' win came at the hands of Wagner College, a 33-10 win. The Camels are currently ranked 8th in the CAA with nine points.
