PHILADELPHIA, PA - The 2006 CAA Wrestling Championships at the Daskalakis Athletic Center at Drexel University have begun. The first round has been completed with very few surprises. Only a pair of seeds, both ranked sixth, fell in the first round; Jeremiah Fennell was pinned by Old Dominion's Jon Dolida and Jon Divello of James Madison was pinned by Nick Magaraci of Wagner.

Old Dominion wrestlers went 4-0 today, Bryan LaShomb majored his opponent 12-1, and Ryan Williams pinned Caleb Lesloff of Campbell University. Nick Pullano recorded a tech fall over his opponent from James Madison at the 5:10 mark.
