Senior Ben Summerlin and junior Derrell Lorthridge both lost their semi-finals matches on Saturday to fall out of title contention. Junior John Starkes was the only Monarch to win his bout in the consolation round.

Hoftra's Ralph Everett defeated Summerlin 13-5 while Lorthridge fell in overtime to Carmelo Marrero from Rider.

Starkes was victorious over Boston's Mike Galorenzo 8-7 in overtime. Chris Buckner, Dennis Whitby, Matt Ulrey, and Adam Wright all lost in the consolation round and were eliminated from the Tournament.

As a team ODU is in ninth with 14 points while Hostra still leads with 93 total points.

The Consolation finals follow at 4 p.m. with the Championship Finals at 6 p.m.
