Fargo, ND--Old Dominion Wrestling Head Coach Steve Martin and Assistant Coach Lee Pritts head to Fargo, North Dakota this week to coach prospective future Olympians in the cadet and junior brackets at the USA Wrestling Cadet and Junior Nationals.

The Nationals, which features Greco Roman and freestyle brackets for both Juniors and Cadets, started last Saturday at the spacious Fargodome on the campus of North Dakota State University and will come to a close this Saturday. USA Wrestling, the national governing body for wrestling in the United States, organized the event.

Among those competing in the junior bracket at the Nationals are Old Dominion recruits Cam Watkins of Magruder High School in Maryland who finished fifth in the finals for the 135 weight class, and Kevin Harrington from Columbia High School in New York finished fourth in the finals for the 189 weight class. Kaylen Baxter of West Valley High School in Fairbanks Alaska went 4-2 at 145 pounds.

"The Nationals is the toughest high school tournament in the world, and it's impressive to see two of our incoming student athletes place high in this tournament," Steve Martin said, "The guys they'll be wrestling, they'll see later in future NCAA tournaments."

Martin feels this is an impressive step for the Old Dominion Wrestling program adding, "This further enhances our program as the wrestling community sees we're bringing in winners at the national level."
