NORFOLK, Va. – Eleven members of the Old Dominion University wrestling team earned the Colonial Athletic Association’s Commissioner’s Academic Award from the spring semester. The award is presented to the student-athletes who earned a 3.2 GPA or higher.
Receiving the awards for ODU was junior Eric Dunnet, redshirt sophomore Jerome Robinson, redshirt freshman Chris Mecate, redshirt senior Grant Chapman, redshirt sophomore Jacob Henderson, redshirt freshman Rob Deutsch, redshirt sophomore Adrin Taylor, sophomore Jacob Kingett, redshirt sophomore Matt Tourdot, redshirt freshman Austin Coburn and junior Tristan Warner.
The Wrestling Monarchs return to the mat for practice for the upcoming season beginning on Monday, Sept. 10.
