NORFOLK, Va. –
The No. 25 ranked Old Dominion University wrestling team will be traveling to Ames, Iowa for a dual meet with the Cyclones of Iowa State on Nov. 25.

The Monarchs are coming off their first win of the year against a Wisconsin team that was ranked No. 25 at the time.

Jerome Robinson (125) and Scott Festejo (133) both notched 5-2 victories. Robinson and Festejo each registered a pair of takedowns in their victories.

Freshman Alexander Richardson defeated Cole Schmitt 4-2 in sudden victory, while John Nicholson (157) rolled to a 14-4 major decision over Wisconsin's Alex Yde.

Billy Curling and Austin Coburn also had strong performances for the Monarchs with 9-6 and 4-3 wins.

Justin LaValle along with Robinson, Festejo, and Nicholson are all currently ranked in their respective weight classes for Old Dominion.

Nov. 25 will be the first dual meet of the season for Iowa State. The Cyclones received 16 votes in the most recent USA Today/NWCA/AWN Division I Coaches Poll.

Iowa State currently has six ranked wrestlers: No. 15 Ryak Finch (125), No. 18 Luke Goettl (141), No. 17 Mike England (174), No. 16 Boaz Beard (184), No. 14 Kyven Gadson (197), and No. 16 Matt Gibson (HWT).

On Nov. 10, Iowa State hosted the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open. This was the only competition that the Cyclones have competed in this season. Mike Moreno (165), Cole Shafer (197) along with England all were crowned as champions at the Cyclone Open.
