NORFOLK, VA - Head coach Steve Martin and his Monarch grapplers travel to Greensboro, NC, tomorrow to compete in the 2005 Southern Scuffle. The event will feature ten mats of simultaneous competition starting the 29th and finishing on the 30th, at the Greensboro Special Events Center.

Three Monarch wrestlers have been named to the tournaments pre-seeding list. At 133, junior Michael Martin is the highest ranked Monarch taking the no. 9 spot. Senior Shanon Slack is no. 11 at 141, and sophomore Nick Pullano rounds out the pre-seeding list for 157 pounds at no.12.

A live webcast will be available for the 2005 Southern Scuffle through UNCGSpartans.com and SouthernScuffle.com.

In-depth coverage of the 2005 Southern Scuffle will be provided both days from start to finish, highlighting numerous matches. In addition, several coaches and wrestlers will provide in-sight throughout the two days of action.
