Second season

Juliet McGee Schweiter returns to the Lady Monarch coaching staff for her second season. Bringing a familiar face to the staff, Schweiter spent two seasons at Colonial Athletic Association rival school American University.

At Old Dominion, Schweiter will share recruiting coordinator duties with Greene, organizing all on and off-campus recruiting efforts for the Lady Monarchs. In addition, she will oversee team travel and handle all of the on-campus housing for student-athletes. She will also actively recruit, along with Greene, around the country. In addition, Schweiter will assist with the on-court development of Lady Monarch post players. In addition, she will share responsibility for scouting opponents. Prior to her current post at Old Dominion, Schweiter finished two seasons under Head Coach Jeff Thatcher at American University. Before that post, Schweiter served as an assistant coach at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut for two seasons.

Schweiter graduated from Pennsylvania's Bucknell University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in economics. Following her graduation, Schweiter served a two-year stint as the graduate assistant coach at Fairfield University in Connecticut where she earned her master's degree in education.

During her playing career with the Bison, Schweiter scored over 1,000 points and led the Patriot League in rebounding for two seasons. A captain during her senior season, Schweiter was named to the All-Patriot League first team.

A four-year standout player at Moses Brown high school in Rhode Island, Schweiter was recently inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.

A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Schweiter and her husband, Herb, reside in Norfolk.
