Head Coach Wendy Larry

Opening Statement:
"I had the opportunity to look at the stat sheet. I thought we really did a tremendous job with Megan Frazee and Courtney Watkins. Megan Frazee ends up with 19 [points] and 8 [rebounds] and that's quite a statement for a young woman who is a tremendous player. I thought Megan Pym and Shahida Williams did a tremendous job on her. Her stat line is pretty impressive: 6-for-6 from the foul line. Our sixth man today was obviously our fans here at the Ted and I thought Shahida Williams and Megan Pym and Jazzmin Walters led us with poise and energy."

Megan Pym, senior, center/forward

On defensive strategy:
"Megan was a great player. You can't give her enough credit as far as her inside-out game. The strength of our team is that we can match up with [their size]."

On defending Megan Frazee:
"I think me and her are very similar as far as our games go. We have good size on our team that probably frustrated her. That's what we wanted to do - we wanted to get her out of the flow. But she's a great player- she had19 points and 8 rebounds, we were trying to focus on her. You've got to give her a lot of credit for that.

Jazzmin Walters, junior, guard

On three pointers in first half:
"They just came out playing the zone. The more shots we knocked down, the more it opened up the inside."

Shahida Williams, senior, forward

On the amount of assists:
"Sharing the ball comes naturally to us. Over the summer time we worked with each other. Everyone knows where the next person is and with the rhythm of the defense that we play, it makes it easy."
