NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 12) -- Bill Harris, an assistant athletic director for fund raising at Old Dominion University from 1990 through 1995 and author of a fiction thriller entitled "The Methuselah Solution", will be on campus Thursday, Feb. 15 for book signings. Harris, currently the director of the YMCA in South Boston, VA., will sign books from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Old Dominion University bookstore, the Webb University Center, and during the first half at the Lady Monarchs vs. UNC-Wilmington contest that evening at 7:30 p.m. at the ODU fieldhouse.

As prison problems grow exponentially in the US, this book captures the politics of the prison system and finds a revolutionary answer. Dr. Cynthia Turner is a rising star at the Texas Institute where she supervises a new form of alternative sentencing. The answer is an aging serum that replaces multiple years of costly confinement with an injection that rapidly ages the convicted felon the exact number of years sentenced by the court.

Harris will donate partial proceeds from Thursday's book sales to the Old Dominion University Intercollegiate Foundation for athletic scholarships.
