Old Dominion's Lucienne Berthieu Makes Regional Cut As WBCA Announces Finalists for NCAA Division I Kodak Women's All-America Basketball Team
Atlanta, Georgia (Mar. 12) - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), in
cooperation with Eastman Kodak Company, announced the finalists today for the 2000 NCAA Division
I Kodak Women's All-America Basketball Team.
Old Dominion junior center Lucienne Berthieu (Rennes, France) is one of six finalist from District 2. Berthieu, who has missed the last seven games for the Lady Monarchs, leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Berthieu is also shooting a team-leading 62% from the field. Recently, Berthieu was named the CAA Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, after sharing the honor with former teammate Mery Andrade.
