The Lady Monarchs upped their Italian summer exhibition tour record to 3-0 on Sunday with an 86-48 victory over the Ilirijac Basketball Club.

Led by 13 points from senior Lucienne Berthieu, the Lady Monarchs put on a scoring clinic once again with 11 players scoring, with six in double figures. The squad fell behind in the early minutes of the contest, but made a nine-point run on break away layups from Hamechetou Maiga and Okeisha Howard to take a 12-6 lead with 16:32 left in the first half and controlled the tempo of the game from that point on. Corrina Turner, Sharron Francis, and Shareese Grant all contributed 12 points each in the win, while Kim Giddens tossed in 11.

Old Dominion has posted victories over the Bellinzona club team of Switzerland and two wins over the Ilirijac squad from Slovenia. Their next exhibition game is Tuesday in Livorno, Italy with the Italian Junior National Team.
