MACHERIO, ITALY - Shareese Grant (Va. Beach, Va.) scored 22 points to lead the Lady Monarchs of Old Dominion to a 101-42 victory over the Canaglia Club Thursday afternoon. The Lady Monarchs finished their ten day/ five-game tour of Italy and Switzerland with a 5-0 record.

Three other Lady Monarchs joined Grant in double figures. Myriah Spence (Espanola, NM) scored ten, Okiesha Howard (Va. Beach, Va.) 12, and Hamchatou Maiga (Bamako, Mali) finished with 16. All 12 Lady Monarchs scored against Canaglia Club which is the second time Old Dominion went over the century mark.

Through the five games, Hamchetou Maiga led with a 13.7 per game average, Lucienne Berthieu was next at 13.0 and Shareese Grant followed at 12.6 points per game. The Lady Monarchs as a team averaged 94.4 points, while giving up only 39.0 on the tour.
