Lady Monarchs to Host Open Practice/Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Oct. 20

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University women’s basketball team will hold an open practice and fan appreciation session on Saturday, Oct. 20 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Head Coach Karen Barefoot and her staff will open the doors for fans to watch the end of the Lady Monarchs’ practice from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and catch their first glimpse of the 2012-13 team. Following practice, fans will get a roster and team picture that they can get autographed in addition to participating in three-point shooting contests and other exciting activities. Barefoot will also speak to the fans about ODU’s upcoming 2012-13 campaign.
