LADY MONARCHS HAVING SOME FUN AT THE KOMEN 5K RACE

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Old Dominion University women's basketball team helped out at the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K in Virginia Beach on Saturday.

The Lady Monarchs got on stage before the race and led the Survivor's tunnel to honor the survivors and cheered on the runner's at the starting line.

Later in the day back on campus, the Komen Race had a table in Kaufmann Mall for Homecoming festivities where Coach Barefoot and the Lady Monarchs helped to spread the word and hand out pink ribbons in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

About the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
