NORFOLK, VA. (Oct. 28) - Senior swing player Hamchetou Maiga (Bamako, Mali) scored a game high 16 points with six rebounds and three steals to lead the Blue squad to a 58-52 victory over the White squad in the annual Old Dominion University Blue-White basketball scrimmage on Oct. 28.

Freshman Monique Coker (Bronx, NY.) added 14 points and sophomore Alli Spence (Lafayette, CO.) had 11 with five assists for the Blue squad. The White squad was led by sophomore Kim Giddens (Painter, Va.) with 13 points and ten rebounds, while Okeisha Howard (Va. Beach, Va.) scored 12, and Sharron Francis (Lanham Hill, Md. ) ten.

The Lady Monarchs return to action on Friday, Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against MI Express.
