NORFOLK, Va.-- Old Dominion University Head Women's Basketball Coach
Wendy Larry announced today that 6-2 senior forward and two-time CAA Player of
the Year Lucienne

anterior cruciate ligament
in her left knee. Berthieu elected to have surgery on Nov. 16.
On Oct. 6, Berthieu , a 2000 Kodak Districk III All-American underwent an arthroscope on her left knee to trim a torn meniscus. "We are all very sorry that Lucienne has been dealt another devastating injury, " said Larry. "With the history of injuries that she has enduried in her basketball career, we were hoping that this year would be injury free. We anxiously look forward to her healthy return to our roster next season." Berthieu, who averaged 17.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game last year will have one more year of eligibility.
