NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Sharron Francis had 22 points and 10 rebounds as No. 21 Old Dominion beat Virginia 86-65 on Friday night.

Natalie Diaz added 20 points for the Lady Monarchs (5-1), and Lucienne Berthieu had 16 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.

Telisha Quarles led Virginia (4-4) with 19 points, and Erin Stovall had 13.

Virginia pulled within 10 at 42-32 on Svetlana Volnaya's jumper to open the second half, but Old Dominion scored the next eight points to put it away.

Old Dominion forced 27 turnovers - 21 on steals - and blocked eight shots. Berthieu had six steals and three blocks, and Francis had four steals.
