Lucienne Berthieu scored 19 points and Hamchetou Maiga added 17 as No. 20 Old Dominion beat Vermont 86-59 on Monday night.

Alli Spence had 14 points and 10 assists for the Lady Monarchs (7-1). Sharron Francis added 13 points and Natalie Diaz had 12.

The Catamounts (8-2) were led by Karalyn Church with 18 points. Dawn Cressman and Libby Smith each had 10 points.

Old Dominion led Vermont 43-29 at halftime and then outscored the Catamounts 15-4 over a five-minute stretch midway through the second half to keep the game out of reach.

Old Dominion had 27 steals to five for Vermont. The Catamounts outrebounded the Lady Monarchs 36-30 but committed 35 turnovers.
