Player Profile

Jill Fisher was a two-sport star in both field hockey and lacrosse at Old Dominion. She co-captained the 1988 NCAA field hockey national championship squad that went 26-1. Fisher earned first team All-American honors as a senior and honorable mention All-American honors as a junior.

She compiled 70 career goals, 25 career assists, and 95 career points. As a senior, Fisher scored 32 goals and assisted on 14 others. As a lacrosse standout, Fisher scored 26 goals as a senior, 20 as a junior, and 19 as a sophomore. She was a two-time All-South Region and South Atlantic lacrosse selection.

Fisher also competed in three Olympic Sports Festivals, along with the U.S. National team and the Under-21 field hockey team. As a senior, Fisher was named by the Old Dominion Alumni Association as the Female Athlete of the Year. She graduated with a degree in biology in 1989. She currently lives in Philadelphia, PA and is working as a research technician at Thomas Jefferson University.
