Prior to Old Dominion: Four-year member of the Hickory varsity field hockey team...Was selected as team captain and Most Valuable Player for both her junior and senior seasons..Named First Team All-District, All-Region and All-State after her senior year...Was an All-Tidewater, All-Regional and All-District performer.

Personal: Born November 26, 1992...Daughter of George and Wendy Hept...Has a younger sister, Miranda (15)...Spent parts of her summer coaching field hockey, dealing primarily with goalkeepers at Hickory Middle School...Dream vacation is to Athens, Greece...Favorite food is sushi...Was born on Thanksgiving.

Why ODU? "I wanted to come to ODU because of the coaching staff, its winning tradition and because I felt it was the best fit for me. I'm most looking forward to training and playing at the highest level!"
