ANN ARBOR, MI - Adrienne Hortillosa's second half goal lifted the University of Michigan to a 1-0 win over defending National Champion Old Dominion Sunday afternoon. The Lady Monarchs are now 0-2, Michigan, pre-season number four is now 1-1.

After a scoreless first half, Hortillosa scored an unassisted goal three minutes into the match. The Wolverines outshot , 8-3. Lady Monarch goalkeeper Marybeth Freeman (Holland, Pa.) came up with seven saves on the day.

Old Dominion returns home to host Maryland on Saturday at 1 p.m.
