STORRS, CT. - Tiffany Snow (Escondido, CA.), Adrienne Yoder (Coopersburg, PA.) nd Tara Hermann (Perkasie, PA.) each scored a goal to lead fourth ranked and defending National Champion Old Dominion to a 3-0 victory over the University of Connecticut Saturday afternoon. Old Dominion is now 8-3, the Huskies fall to 5-5.

Snow put the Lady Monarchs up, 1-0 in the first half on a penalty corner with assists from Yoder and Melanie de Jager (Pretoria, South Africa). In the second half Yoder scored nine minutes into the half, then Tara Hermann scored with ten minutes left in the match on an assist from Melissa Leonetti (Erdenheim, Pa.). Both Yoder and Hermann have scored five goals each this season.

Lady Monarch goalkeeper Marybeth Freeman picked up her fourth shutout of the season. The Lady Monarchs outshot Uconn 28-1. Old Dominion will play New Hampshire Sunday at 1 p.m. in Storrs, Ct.
