MONARCH SPOTLIGHT

Beginning this fall, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion.

The latest installment of Monarch Spotlight looks at field hockey's sophomore back Kelsey Smither. The reigning CAA Rookie of the Year has already collected over 20 assists in her career as she switched from midfield to back in 2012. Smither has four career goals and has started in all 40 games over the past two seasons for the Lady Monarchs.
