Beginning in the fall of 2012, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion.

The latest installment of Monarch Spotlight narrows in on field hockey's junior midfielder and team co-captain Kati Nearhouse. Scoring 11 goals with seven assists in her career, Nearhouse is a member of the U21 U.S. National Field Hockey team and a first team All-CAA selection in 2012.
