WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- Lady Monarch freshman Samantha
Morrell (North Kingstown, RI.) finished second at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate, just one stroke behind the winner Sunday afternoon.
Morrell led after the first round, but shot 78 on Sunday to finish one stroke behind Kameron Carter of Longwood. Sophomore Connie Farmer (Toronto, Canada) ted for 30th with a 162
As a team, ODU placed eighth with a 36 hole score of 638. The College of William and Mary won the tournament
with a 36 hole score of 612.
The Lady Monarchs return to action April 5-6 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in
Chandler, AZ.
