FARMVILLE, VA-- Old Dominion University freshman Laura Holmes(Ireland)and junior Meghan Schaefer (Unior,KY.) tied for eighth to help lead the Lady Monarchs to a third place finish at the Tina Barrett Longwood Invitational.

Holmes shot an 81 and Schaefer shot a 79 on the final round. Freshman Rashelle Fetty (Enid,OK.) shot a 77 for the best Lady Monarch round of the day. She tied for 17th, while senior Ashley Davis tied for 15th. The Lady Monarchs have now had a third and a fifth this Spring season.

They will compete in the CAA Championships April 20-22 at the Old Course in Hot Springs, VA.
