Waynesville, NC-- The Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs finished the 36 hole tournament with a school record 602 to finish 11th at the 2008 Great Smokies Intercollegiate.

Senior Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA.) placed 21st with a 148, Rashelle Fetty (Enid, OK.) was 26th at 194 and Laura Holmes (Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland) 32nd with a 150.

Fetty was ODU's top player today with a 73 followed by Laura Holmes with a 74.

The previous school mark was 610 at the Draper Tournament in Sept. 2006.

Western Carolina won the event with a 578 while Lorie Warren of Belmont won the individual crown with a 138. ODU returns to action, Oct. 13 and 14 at the Richmond Classic.
