STATE COLLEGE, PA-- Gemma Fuster shot 72, Elizabeth Haycock shot 74 to lead the Lady Monarch golfers to second place just four strokes off the lead after the first round of the Nittany Lion Women's Invitational at the Penn State Golf Course.

Fuster is currently tied for third, while Haycock is tied for ninth. Two other Lady Monarchs, Kimberley Bradbury and Samantha Morrell are tied for 15th after shooting 75 today.

Penn State leads the event with a 292, followed by ODU at 296 and Harvard at 303. Ellen Ceresko of Penn State leads the individuals after shooting a 69 for a three stroke lead over ODU's Fuster.
