Lady Monarchs Remain In Second At Penn State Tournament

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-- ODU junior Gemma Fuster (Barcelona, Spain )shot 71 in the second round and is in third place at the 37th annual Nittany Lion Wmen's Golf Invitational at the Penn State Golf Course. As a team, the Lady Monarchs remain in second place behind the host team Penn State. Fuster had three birdies as she shot -1 today for a two-round total of 143, trailing Ellen Ceresko of Penn State by five strokes. Ceresko shot 69 today, while her teammate Christina Vosters is second at 141. Penn State fired 283, the lowest round of the event today and now has a 575 score for 36 holes. ODu is second at 595 after shooting 299 and Minnesota is third at 598. ODU junior Elizabeth Haycock (Birmingham, England) is tied for seventh with a 147 two-round score, and Kimberley Bradbury (DerbyShire, England) is tied for 22nd with a 151 score. The tournament final round is Sunday.
