DAYTONA BEACH,FL-- The ODU Lady Monarchs shot 308 in the second round for a 36 hole score of 620 to move into second place, just two strokes behind the leader at the LPGA Xavier Invitational at the International course. Individually, senior Samantha Morrell is third at 150, just two strokes back of the leader.

Junior Elizabeth Haycock is fifth at 153 and is just five strokes behind the leader while Kimberley Bradbury is tied for 18th at 158.

Lacey Fears (73-75=148) of Mercer and Georgia Price (74-74=148) of Florida Gulf Coast are tied for the lead at 148 two strokes ahead of ODU's Samantha Morrell (75-75=150).

Florida Gulf Coast University leads the team scoring at 618 after two rounds, followed by ODU at 620 and Mercer is third at 628.

The third and final round will be played on Sunday.
