SUFFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University junior golfer Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA.) finished 54 holes with a 230 score to tie for sixth place at the Lady Monarch Invitational held at the Cedar Point Country Club. Longwood won the event with a 909 and Lancer Kara Spence defeated teammate Kameron Carter on the third play-off hole for the individual medalist crown. As a team, ODU finished fifth at 951.

In all, five Monarchs finished in the top 20. Laura Holmes (Ireland) finished 12th at 238, Samantha Mosko (Plymouth, MA.) was 16th at 244 while Bailey Mosier (Las Vegas, NV.) and Deztany Jackson (Ft. Washington, MD).tied for 19th at 246.

Longwood had three players in the top three which included Mary Carmody who Tied for third with a 226. Spence who shot a 75 today to tied teammate Carter then Birdied the third hole after two pars to win the playoff. Carter was at par in all three Playoff holes.
