The ODU Women's golf team reached out to the Hampton Roads Community and Habitat for Humanity to help build a home over the weekend.

Team members consisted of Kimberley Bradbury, Connie Farmer, Gemma Fuster, Kristen Hagan, Elizabeth Haycock and Samantha Morrell.

The Lady Monarch golfers assisted with the vinyl siding, put up walls and a roof. "It was a great experience for them and a nice way to help out the community," said head coach Carol Robertson.

The Lady Monarchs open the spring season on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
