SOUTH BEND, IN- ODU's Samantha Morrell lost her opening match play round to Allie White of Ohio, 2 and 1 Wednesday at the 6,092 yard, par 71- Warren Golf Course on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Morrell advanced to the match play round of 64 after tying for 23rd in the stroke play segment of the tournament. She shot 72 and 74 for 146 two round score.
