WILLIAMSBURG -- ODU's Carol Robetson's run in the 87th Virginia State Golf Association Women's Amateur at the 5,770-yard, par 72 Golden horseshoe Golf Club Course ended with a semi-final loss to Lauren Coughlin of Charlottesville, 6 and four. The Lady Monarchs incoming freshman Lauren Eklund (Charlottesville, VA.) lost in the quarterfinals to Elizabeth Brightwell (Nellysford, VA.), 2 and 1.

Robertson, the top seed who won the event in 2010 reached the semifinal after defeating Ju Hee Bae (Chantilly), 1 up.
