NORFOLK, VA-- ODU men's and women's assistant golf coach Carol Robertson has qualified for the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championships to be held, Sept. 25-30 at the Wichita Country Club in Wichita, KS.

Robertson qualifed by taking second at the sectional qualifying tournament held at the Rivermont Golf and Country Club in Johns Creek, Ga. She shot a 77, one stroke behind Michelle Griffith of Lagrange, GA.

Her husband, Jason Robertson qualified for U.S. Mid-Amateur, Sept. 25-30 at the Atlantic Golf Club in Long Island, NY.

Carol Green Robertson is a 2005 graduate of James Madison University where she was a two-time CAA Women's Golfer Of the Year and three-time first team All-CAA selection. Last year she was selected to the CAA's 25th anniversary team for women's golf.

She and her husband Jason reside in Virginia Beach.
