BOSTON Jennifer Heister (Fayetteville, NY.) scored four goals and Suzanne Wosczyna (Phoenixville, Pa.) added two and assisted on five others to lead 15th ranked Old Dominion to a 13-9 victory over #20 Boston University Saturday. ODU is now 10-4 on the season. Wosczyna's five assists makes her the All-Time leader in assists at ODU with 51.

Freshman midfielder Alyssa Trudel (Middlebury, VT) scored three first half goals, helping B. U. to an early 3-2 lead. ODU's Marly Smith (Gaithersburg, MD.) tallied two unanswered goals to tie the score at 3-3. Danielle Hensil(Havertown, Pa.) then scored an unassisted goal to give the Monarchs 4-3 advantage, a lead they would never relinquish. The Monarchs led, 5-4, at halftime.

ODU (10-4) seemingly put the game away by scoring four straight goals to open the second half, taking a 9-4 lead. B. U. countered with goals from Trudel and senior attacker Katie Nordhoff (Ellicott City, MD) to cut the Monarch's lead to 9-6 with 14:15 left.

ODU quickly answered with goals from Janine Rodriguez (Davidsonville, MD.) and Melody Shotwell (Fairfax Station, VA.) to regain its five-goal margin at 11-6.

The Terriers scored three goals in a row in a span of 2:07 to pull to within two goals at 11-9 with just 3:04 left. Senior attacker Ericka Hergenroeder (Annapolis, MD) started the streak with her second goal of the game off an assist by Nordhoff at 5:11. Senior midfielder Kristin Abruzzese (Medford, NJ) added an unassisted goal at 3:52, before Trudel fed senior defender Gabby Juocys (Rochester, MI) for the third score at 3:04. ODU scored twice in the final two minutes, to end the Terrier threat.

Trudel finished with four goals and one assist for B. U., while Abruzzese had one goal and three assists. Senior goalkeeper Brooke Barrett (Ellicott City, MD) made 12 saves, while ODU's Beth O'Leary (Manlius, NY.) had 10 saves.
