NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University Lacrosse team continues their Player of the Week for the 2011-12 season, calling it the "Mane Monarch".

This week's winner is junior Alexandra Burns. Last season, Burns appeared in all 15 games and made her first career start at James Madison on April 11, 2011. For the season, Burns registered eight grounsballs and cause three turnovers.
