Beginning in the fall of 2012, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion. 

This week features women's lacrosse senior defender Alexandra Burns. Starting in 24 games and seeing action in 45 career games at ODU, Burns has collected 47 groundballs, caused 20 turnovers and won 16 draw controls in her career.
