NORFOLK, VA -- The #18 Old Dominion women's lacrosse team (8-3) will host #3 Loyola (MD) (6-1) in its annual "Scholarship Game" at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Foreman Field. Admission to the event is five dollars with all proceeds to benefit the Old Dominion Intercollegiate Fund for Women's Lacrosse Scholarships.

Old Dominion is riding a two-game winning streak having defeated Lafayette, 17-6, and former CAA rival Richmond, 16-7, in its last two outings. The Lady Monarchs boast the nation's top offensive weapon in sophomore Suzanne Wosczyna (Phoniexville, VA) who is averaging 5.6 points per game entering this week's competition. Wosczyna to date has collected 63 points on 33 goals and 33 assists and ranks first in the country in assists per game and 13th in goals scored per game. Joining Wosczyna on the attack in senior Jennifer Heister (Fayetteville, NY) and junior Danielle Hensil (Havertown, PA). Heister has accumulated 35 points on 27 goals and eight assists, while Hensil has tallied 39 points on 26 goals and 13 assists and ranks 24th in the country in assists per game and 25th in points per game.

The Greyhounds enter Saturday's game winners of their four games. Loyola lone loss of the 2002 season came at the hands of #2 Princeton, 10-6, back on March 10th. Stacey Morlang leads the attack unit having registered 30 points on 25 goals and five assists. She currently ranks 20th in points per game. Morlang is joined by Suzanne Eyler up front who enters tomorrow's game with 16 gaols, six assists and 22 points. She also places her name among the top players in the country ranking 30th in points per outing. In goal, the Greyhounds are led by Tricia Dabrowski who holds a .609 save percentage and 11.6 save per game average.

Saturday's game will mark the final home game for the Lady Monarchs of the 2002 season. The four seniors of this year's squad will be honored prior to the game.
