ODU Coaches Teach Lacrosse in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University women's lacrosse coaches participated in an all day sports camp recently at the YMCA in Suffolk to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse. "It was a lot of fun getting to introduce a new sport to most of these kids," said ODU head coach Heather Holt. "Lacrosse is such an up and coming sport in this area and across the country really and getting to teach it to children at a young age is really important." The group of local kids went through a "sports camp week" and had the opportunity to learn from the ODU coaches about lacrosse all day before moving to another sport the following day.
