NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University women's lacrosse team has had a number of events this fall they have participated in from on the field activities such as Halloween runs and skills camps to off the field community service at the Breastival and Fun Walk last weekend.

On Oct. 25, at the Breastival and Fun Walk at Kaufman Mall, 100% of all donations raised went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as a fun walk, a bra decorating contest and a t-shirt design contest all took place. The team lined up at the end of the walk to cheer on all the breast cancer survivors with pink pom-poms.

Throughout the fall, the lacrosse team has supported the fall athletic teams on a number of occasions including at the STIHL soccer classic in the annual student spirit contest.

This week on Halloween, the team went on their traditional Halloween run and also went through different parts of the athletic department dressed up and gave out candy.

The Lady Monarchs are wrapping up fall practice and are slated to take part in their annual media day festivities this upcoming week.
