NORFOLK, VA - The Old Dominion women's soccer team kicks off Colonial Athletic Association play, taking on 25th-ranked William and Mary at home this Friday evening at 7:00p.m. at the Old Dominion University Soccer Stadium. ODU enters the game with a 4-1-0 record after a 2-0 shutout victory over Liberty last Saturday.

Senior forward Laura Beeman (Chalfont, PA) has a team leading five goals this season, and is leading the CAA in total shots (20), shots per game (5), and is tied for first place with William and Mary's Claire Zimmeck for total goals with five. Katie Watson (Woodbridge, VA) and Janna Pearson (Haymarket,VA) round out the top ten in the CAA for total shots and shots per game.

The Lady Monarchs are 1-12 all-time against William and Mary, beating them for the first time ever last year 2-1 in over time in the first of two match ups they had on last year's schedule. In the CAA Quarterfinals, ODU met William and Mary for the second time of the season dropping the game to a 1-0 decision in Williamsburg, VA.

The Tribe is currently 2-1-3 after tying Tennessee 1-1 in their game last Sunday.

Old Dominion's next home game is Tuesday, September 20 against Elon, followed by a September 23 inaugural match against the Wyoming Cowgirls at home.
