HARRISONBURG, VA (Sept. 29, 2000) -- James Madison's Teri Joyce scored two goals this evening to push the Dukes past Old Dominion, 2-0. The loss drops Old Dominion to 7-5 overall, 1-2 CAA. The Dukes improve to 5-5 overall, 2-0 CAA.

Joyce scored her first goal just four minutes into the game off a pass from teammate Colleen McIlwrath. The lead would stand at 1-0 until the 75th minute, when Joyce struck again to put the Dukes up 2-0 and secure the win. For the game, James Madison held a 14-13 advantage in shots against the Lady Monarchs.

Old Dominion will return to action on Friday, October 6, when they travel to CAA foe UNC-Wilmington. The Lady Monarchs next home game will be Sunday, October 8 against Rutgers.
