NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer returns home on Thursday to face Drexel at 4 p.m.

ODU comes into Thursday with a 2-11 mark on the year and is 0-5 in conference play.

The Lady Monarchs are led offensively by senior Ashlee Coutu and junior Amber Cook who each have four goals and an assist on the year. Senior Taylor Mertz is third on the squad with a goal and four assists.

After 13 games so far this season, four Lady Monarchs have started every game, including Mertz, Sara Brock, Nikki Clarke and Devin Dougherty.

Coutu's Early Goal Leads Women's Soccer Past Drexel, 1-0
NORFOLK, Va. - Ashlee Coutu scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute as Old Dominion University women's soccer defeated Drexel 1-0 Sunday afternoon at the ODU Soccer Stadium.

Drexel brings a 10-2-2 overall record and 4-1-1 league mark into Thursday.

Gabby Dixon leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists.

The Dragons' keeper Eve Badana leads the CAA in goals against average (0.63) and shutouts (eight) and has three consecutive shutouts.

ODU is back on the road Sunday when they travel to Delaware for a 1 p.m. contest
