Norfolk, VA (Oct. 20) - George Mason's Katy Robertson scored the sudden-death goal with just under five minutes left to play in overtime as the Patriots downed ODU on Oct. 20, 2-1. The loss drops Old Dominion to 11-7 overall, 4-3 CAA. George Mason improves to 9-7, 4-1 CAA.

Old Dominion's Jen Henley (Chalfont, PA) scored the first goal of the game to put the Lady Monarchs up 1-0 at the half, but Mason would battle back and tie the game on a Jaime Wolff goal at 59:03. The Lady

Monarchs came close to scoring in the final minutes of regulation, but could not beat Patriot goalie Sara Coughlin, who registered nine saves on the night.

Old Dominion held a 15-10 advantage in shots and a 4-2 advantage in corners.

Lady Monarch goalie Tonya Dedmond (North Potomac, MD) made four saves on the night.

The Lady Monarchs will return to action on Oct. 22 when they host Mercer.
