McGovern Out For The Season With Injury
NORFOLK, VA. (Oct. 27) - Old Dominion University junior forward Melanie McGovern (Somerdale, NJ.) will be lost for the season after tearing her ACL (left knee) in the Oct. 22 win against Mercer. McGovern leads the team with 16 goals and two assists, and was CAA Player of the Week last week. She will have surgery on Monday, Oct. 30.
The Lady Monarchs play their final regular season home game
on Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.
against Richmond.
